General Information
The Glen Cairn Tennis Club is owned by the City of Ottawa and is run by volunteers. It was established in 1978 and we celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2018.
The club has four well-lit screened courts with a separate practice area. Our clubhouse offers a kitchen, sitting area and restroom facilities. The patio area offers a great view of the courts and a cozy spot for socials. The courts are available for use from May to October from 6 am to 11 pm.
Court Bookings – Done through Court Reserve
Members may book a court through Court Reserve for one (1) hour periods. All members are required to observe court etiquette,court reserve rules and court playing times.
Playing Times – one (1) hour
Playing time is one (1) hour. An additional hour of play can be booked one (1) hour prior to booked start time if a court is available
Guests
Members are able to book a maximum five (5) guest visits for the season. Guests may play with members only. Guests may not play during Prime Time (Monday to Thursday 5 pm to 10 pm). Members book their guest on Court Reserve and are responsible for ensuring guest fees are paid on-line. This will be strictly enforced. Guests are subject to all club rules, may not book a court and must sign a waiver provided by the member. Guests may not play in socials or tournaments.
Guest fee: $6.00
